Through the JANEEMO project, Kusamala is constructing a green house. William and Matt have been working really hard to get it done before the end of the year. Right now it is almost done and we are happy to finally have a green house at the centre. It has been very timely because the rains have just started and at a time like this we needed one.
As a demonstration centre, the green house adds a lot of value to our work. Among other benefits, the green house will speed up the healing process of the grafted trees, it will also facilitate the fast growth of tree seedlings and other plants grown in it, and finally we will be able to grow some vegetables that need controlled climatic conditions.
