Dr. Godfrey Chapola

Dr. Godfrey Moses Chapola is the Managing Director of RUMARK, The Rural Market Development Trust, a Malawian organization working to improve smallholder farmers’ yields and incomes by facilitating the availability and affordability of agro inputs through the development of rural agrodealers. Dr. Chapola has extensive experience with agriculture in Malawi, having previously worked for the Agricultureal Research and External Trust (ARET), Tobacco Research Institute of Malawi (TRIM) and the Tobacco Research Authority among others. Mr. Chapola holds a PhD in Agriculture, Master of Science in Agriculture and Bachelor’s in Biology.

Stacia Nordin

Stacia Nordin is a Registered Dietitian working on environment, agriculture, food systems and healthy living for optimal nutrition. Stacia has studied hundreds of locally available foods, which she and her family have collected, planted around their home and multiplied and shared. In 2005, she worked with WFP Malawi to compile a Sustainable Nutrition manual, which is used in homes, schools and churches. She also assisted the Malawi Ministry of Agriculture to strengthen nutrition in its policies and programs through FAO Malawi as the Food Security and Nutrition Policy Officer. She is now on a 5-year USAID Feed the Future project led by University of Illinois to support Malawi’s Ministry of Agriculture to strengthen Agricultural Extension Systems for improving income, food security and nutrition. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Medical Dietetics and a Diploma in Permaculture Design Course.

Atusaye Mwalwanda

Atusaye Bright Mwalwanda is an independent consultant. He previously worked with both public and private Organizations in Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia coordinating development projects mainly in Agriculture and Natural resources management. He worked for the International Center for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF) as a scaling up technical lead in SADC region for five years during which he was mainly responsible for supervising field officers, designing and delivering training and technical backstopping in best bet soil fertility technologies for smallholder farmers. He holds a Masters in soil science and currently pursuing Doctorate of philosophy in project management.

Kyle D. Willet

Kyle D. Willett graduated from Washington Engineering Institute in 2013 with a Certificate in Renewable Energy Engineering & Project Management. He has have been in the construction industry, residential and commercial aspects, for over fifteen years and has assisted in projects ranging up to 2.1 Million USD. Currently, Kyle is the SR Project Manager at Kumbali Construction overseeing the various projects the company has all over Malawi. In his spare time Kyle seeks out travel and outdoor activities.
